I work across a range of media
including textiles, drawing, printing, painting and 3D processes. My painting
and drawing style demonstrates a rejection of mastery. Recently I have found an
interest in developing films. My current work is based on my phobia of birds.
The film will be projected on three walls, each of which will feature a different
sequence.
I'm currently working on slip cast
moulds of a pair of shoes. My theme for this project is consumerism. I am
interested in the differences between designer and high street fashion labels.
As a final outcome I will have 2 pairs of shoes, one with a designer name and
the other with a high street name but there will be no difference between them.
